Christine Laaban, designer and director of Babylone, created her first collection of jewellery in 1986. The styles in silver and gold plating are both feminine and delicate. All of her jewellery, designed and handmade in Babylone’s studio in the Marais district of Paris, has also appeared in collections for Martine Sitbon, Jean Paul Gaultier, Rochas, Guy Paulin and Patrick Kelly and Paco Rabanne. Three Babylone boutiques can be found in Paris and the brand is also carried in select department stores and shops throughout Europe, the USA and Japan.
