Elena Camilla Bertellotti began studying art and painting at the Stagio Stagi di Pietrasanta art institute from 1987-88. After 4 years of painting she went on to study jewellery and goldsmithing in Florence from 1992-94 and worked as an apprentice to artisans in the jewellery district of Florence. She opened her studio in Forte dei Marmi in 1997 and designs and produces her jewellery from there and in Florence where she spends her summers. Her use of metals and stones combining modern with classical designs are unique and beautifully handcrafted and her jewellery continues to gain recognition throughout the world.
